The Sebago SS26 lookbook was captured at the Owston Hotel, a landmark that has anchored the Fremantle landscape since 1903. There is a clear symmetry between the hotel's weathered, Federation-style elegance and Sebago’s Maine-born heritage. Since its inception in 1946, Sebago has remained a definitive reference for hand-sewn footwear, and this season we wanted to recontextualise those archival forms within a soft, coastal setting.
The editorial focuses on the feeling of seasonal transition. The soft, indoor light of the Owston’s storied rooms highlights the polished finish of the Classic Dan Penny Loafer and the tactile depth of the new Croco-embossed iterations. These silhouettes feel entirely at home against the hotel's burled wood and velvet textures, while the introduction of the minimalist leather mule adds a sense of domestic ease.
Fremantle is a city built on the grit of its port and the beauty of its limestone architecture. By pairing Sebago’s structured uppers with relaxed tailoring, we are celebrating a shared history of purposeful design. It is a study in how heritage endures over time, whether through a pair of shoes or the walls of a century-old hotel.
