This 1954R colourway leans into the Slate Grey and Castlerock side of New Balance's Fall 2026 rollout, running the same suede and mesh upper with N-Lock branding along the side panel. A grid-pattern TPU heel counter and full-length ABZORB midsole carry through from the rest of the range, keeping the cushioning and structure consistent across colourways. It reads softer and more tonal than the Black pair, closer to the model's original grey-first release.
