To celebrate 35 years of MJ’s fifth signature shoe, Jordan Brand revives one of its most coveted launch colourways.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro “Black Tongue” honours Tinker Hatfield’s 1990 design, featuring the jagged midsole, bump-out collar, vented side and tongue panels, and MJ’s number 23 stitched on the outer heel. A premium upper combines white leather with Fire Red and black accents, while the black tongue provides a striking contrast to its silver-tongued counterparts. Visible Nike Air cushioning peeks through the midsole, and the iconic Jumpman branding bursts through the translucent outsole to drive the point home.
