Perth mornings in July have a particular stillness to them, that pale gold light before the city fully wakes up. It's the kind of hour the Highs and Lows Women's Winter 26 collection was made for, not because it's a "morning collection" in any literal sense, but because the pieces carry that same unhurried confidence. It's there in the small decision of getting dressed to meet a friend for just a day out, coffee in hand, and no fixed plan beyond being in each other’s company. Nothing here is dressed for one single moment, but instead is built to be worn for any occasion.
The campaign documented an at-home style photoshoot as the talent got ready to meet a friend at the State Buildings, weaving quiet domestic moments into the wider narrative before the pair meet at one of Perth's more storied corners of St Georges Terrace, a stretch of the city that carries its history in its stonework. Once home to state government departments in the early 1900s, the sandstone building has since been reworked and restored into one of Perth's most photographed heritage precincts, its archways and colonnades now as much a backdrop for city life as they once were for civic business. Photographed by Ryan Murphy, the collection was captured there in that early, low light, the kind that lingers just long enough to catch a moment rather than stage it. Petal collars and wool peacoats lead the range, finished with drawstring ties and gathering, built for winter layering or worn alone, paired back with midi skirts cut in structured wool blends and heavy cotton twill.
