Nike Shox — 'Boing Boing'
Nike Shox — 'Boing Boing'

A silhouette initially crafted for basketball, introducing Air Max technology to the courts. Following the awe-inspiring 'Boing Boing' advertisement released at the start of the millennium, Shox gradually found its way into the back alleys of London, becoming a crucial element of Grime artists' daily attire. Despite Shox gaining widespread popularity since its initial release, the TL remains a pivotal shoe within the Grime scene, to the point that Skepta himself worked on his own version in 2019, selling out in seconds.

Similar to the original Shox of the early 2000s, the Chrome features a mesh upper with leather panels extending to the front and back. A TPU cage wraps around both sides of the upper for added support, adorned with the iconic Nike Swoosh. The silhouette rests upon six robust Shox columns for further reinforcement. At first glance, one might assume this silhouette is uncomfortable due to the noticeable negative space in the sole. However, after months of wear by our team, we can confidently say that Shox aren't just a fashion statement but also exceptionally comfortable. Whether you need a monochromatic shoe for back to school, or simply want to add some texture to your footwear rotation.
