Uniting for their first official collaboration, HAL STUDIOS® and adidas unveil the HAL STUDIOS® VELOSAMBA “HSDT-MK-01”. Creating a fusion between a timeless terrace classic - the Samba, and the laid-back lifestyle of cycling. The Velosamba is a multi-purpose cycling silhouette designed for the modern individual.
Adopting HAL STUDIOS® core value of “Design Thinking” this highly anticipated collaboration effortlessly integrates contemporary details into an iconic silhouette. At a closer glance refined design intricacies can be witnessed including a speed-lacing system, furry terry material on the heel tab, followed by visible zig zag stitching alongside the iconic adidas three stripes branding. Emphasising the textural contrasts within every stitch and fabric choice, a clearly luxurious combination of buttery leathers takes centre stage to compliment the suede toe box. The multitude of elevated details create a unique sense of texture and apply a touch of refined minimalism to a heritage silhouette.
In juxtaposition to the typical heritage terrace infused silhouette the Velosamba outsole features a nylon plate, two-bolt cleat mount, combined with a reinforced midsole that flexes to create comfort while walking. This combination of minimalistic streetwear aesthetics and cycling capabilities creates a dynamic experience for the wearer offering the ability to be worn in a variety of contexts.
