A Danish label conceived in Copenhagen exuding an undeniable quirky and feminine aesthetic that has been confirmed as a brand of choice by your favourite “it” girls including Emma Chamberlain, Jennie Kim and Matilda Djerf. Husband and wife duo Nicolaj and Ditte Reffstrup took over Ganni in 2009 to create an internationally recognised brand that is represented in over 600 retailers across the globe and has founded 25 brand oriented stores, recently opening its first Australian flagship in Sydney in June of this year. Co-founder Ditte states that the purpose behind all of Ganni's garments is for women to wear the clothes not for the clothes to wear the woman. Prior to establishing a commercial presence in Australia many Australian women already followed the brand intensely from a distance, a facination that stemmed from a mutual love shared with the Danish for the outdoors.
Reinvigorate your wardrobe with any piece from our core collection to add a Scandinavian edge to any outfit. The Scandinavian ideology for creating a timeless outfit follows two mantras “elevated comfort” and “easy elegance”. Ganni honours these key mantras with a focus on creating contemporary ready-to-wear yet minimalistic pieces that are adapted to take a whimsical spin on wardrobe staples. Think oversized collars, pops of colour, frills, and breathable fabrics. Garments are designed to accommodate for the laid-back Copenhagen lifestyle that usually entails daily bike rides, trips to the bakery and lots of walking.
Ganni is functional in design to accommodate for your day-to-day routine yet eye catching to help you stand out from the crowd. Ganni transports any closet from the habitual hum drum to the stylish and modern streets of Copenhagen. Ganni centres itself on setting and and surpassing sustainability goals, including cutting carbon consumption by 50 percent by 2027. Currentl Ganni is conducting research in collaboration with San Francisco-based company Rubi Labs to create an environmentally conscious fabric spun from carbon. Bags within thier latest collection are now being constructed from cactus and orange peel as part of the brand's Fabrics of the Future program.
