Boston-based retail store Bodega and HOKA ONE ONE are joining forces once again. Hot off the heels of their last collab that revamped the Kaha Low and ORA Recovery Slides through a unique mixture of colour elements playing with the contrast of subdued and vibrant pops of colour against the harsh hiking terrains. Discover our preview for their latest collaboration, where Bodega and HOKA have trained their eyes on the Tor Ultra, a hiking and trail running shoe.

Dubbed the Tor Ultra "The World at Large" Collection, this capsule involves the creation of a new colour scheme each for the High and Low models. Inspired by the natural beauty of the American Southwest, the Low features a combination of dominant earthy tones of brown and green that is visually held down by hints of washed out purple. The High model flips these colours and dominates the entire shoe with the washed out purple. The shoe also features co-branded detailing throughout, including Bodega's logo on the tongue and Hoka's logo on the heel.

These fresh new colourways showcase the advanced and maximalist technical features that HOKA is renowned for. One of the standout features is the Tor Ultras sole construction, which includes a dual-density EVA midsole with meta-rocker geometry designed to deliver a smooth and efficient ride while minimising the impact on the feet and legs. Additionally, the upper consists of a technical mesh and suede beneath a GORE-TEX membrane and the midsole boasts a wider platform than most hiking shoes, providing stability on uneven terrain.

The Tor Ultra's outsole is crafted from sturdy Vibram MegaGrip rubber, which provides excellent traction on various surfaces, including wet and slippery trails. This combination of features makes the Tor Ultra a reliable choice for long-distance hikes as well as general commutes, delivering comfort, support, and protection to its wearer.
