nanamica developed its own selvedge denim for this wide, straight five-pocket style, using a thick slub yarn of recycled polyester wrapped in cotton and rope-dyed in the warp, with a vintage-style thick cotton nep yarn in the weft. Woven slowly on a traditional shuttle loom, the 80% cotton, 20% polyester denim is not tightly woven, giving it a textured surface that conforms to the body over time and shows the unique fading of selvedge denim. A front zip opening and gusseted inseam add freedom of movement, with a vintage finish for a lived-in look from day one.
