The Samba was originally built in 1950 as a training shoe for footballers to use on frozen pitches — a practical answer to a specific problem that happened to produce one of the most enduring silhouettes in sports history. More than 70 years on, the OG retains every detail that made it: the leather upper, serrated 3-Stripes and reinforced toe stay true to the adidas original, with suede accents and heel patches rounding out the construction. In Brown / Putty Grey / Gold, a rich brown base pairs with a grey suede T-box overlay and gold "SAMBA" lettering on the outer panel for a colourway that earns its warmth without trying too hard.
