On LOUIE, Kenny draws on the rich soul-soaked traditions of outliers like J.Dilla, Madlib and D’Angelo, to explore themes of his own family, childhood, and upbringing for the first time. A tribute to Kenny's overall relationship to music, LOUIE enlists an ensemble cast of collaborators and players to offer up a new kind of producer album, adding all new layers to his own still-growing voice.
