Founded in 1994 by Shinsuke Takizawa, Neighborhood is a Japanese streetwear label that was one of the pioneers of ‘Ura-Hara’ streetwear, literally translating to ‘the hidden Harajuku’. Shinsuke’s passion for Americana and ‘rebel’-like way of thinking lead to the start of neighbourhood, a brand named after the respect and affiliation with the physical neighbourhood of Urahara.
