Set across the Perth foothills, our Spring 2026 men's lookbook, titled "The Ponderosa", takes cues from the shift in Western Australia's seasonal weather: softer light, blooming landscapes, and warmer evenings that still call for adaptable layering.
The Ponderosa, our Spring 2026 men's lookbook, shot across the Perth foothills.
The feature centres around a relaxed picnic setting, built to showcase versatile spring dressing across single-layer and multi-layered menswear outfits. Heavy focus is placed on shirting fabrications, natural materialisation, and a muted, tonal colour palette, utilising subtle shades of beige, grey, and soft green across a multi-brand selection including CANDICE, COMME DES GARÇONS HOMME, Norse Projects, and Plasticana.
"Softer light, blooming landscapes, and warmer evenings that still call for adaptable layering."
To capture the dreamy, washed-out aesthetic inspired by 1970s and 80s Polaroid imagery, Peter Weir's Picnic at Hanging Rock, and Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides, photographer Ryan Murphy leant into low-contrast lighting and subtle diffusion. Relying on natural, overcast day-glow and soft, bounced light to avoid harsh shadows, the imagery maintains a flat, gentle, and painterly texture throughout.
"A flat, gentle, and painterly texture throughout."
"The Ponderosa" highlights a practical, understated approach to seasonal menswear dressing, built for shifting weather and easy daily wear.
