Justine Clenquet brings subculture-led jewellery, handcrafted in Lille, to Level 02.
We are pleased to introduce French jewellery designer Justine Clenquet to Level 02. Founded in 2010 when Clenquet was eighteen, the eponymous label operates from her atelier in Lille, France, where every piece is handcrafted with a strict commitment to local production and design integrity.
Rooted in subcultural music references, Justine Clenquet draws inspiration from seventies glam rock, nineties punk, and underground club culture. The aesthetic centres on a constant dialogue between masculine and feminine elements. Classic silhouettes like chokers, chain bracelets, and hoop earrings are reinterpreted through heavy chain links, asymmetric hardware, and mixed-metal finishes. Crafted from nickel-free brass dipped in 24k pale gold and palladium, her designs bring an unpretentious, subversively glamorous edge to the wardrobe.
"An unpretentious, subversively glamorous edge to the wardrobe."
By blending high-end craftsmanship with accessible, unisex appeal, Justine Clenquet has earned recognition from artists like Charli xcx and Dua Lipa. Bringing the label to the Highs and Lows Department Store expands our Level 02 selection with honest, subculture-led accessories built for versatility.
The initial delivery, featuring pieces like the Irvin Earrings, Holly Necklace, and Allen Bracelet, is available now in-store at the HAL Department Store and online.
